| Wally and Theodore are a little bigger and much better coordinated than they were just two days ago when I took their first sumo wrestling picture (the one you saw yesterday). Sumo wrestling remains their major form of play as they compete to establish dominance. With improved strength and coordination, it is now rare for either one to be pushed over. Wally is the larger one on the right in both pictures. By scaling from the two-inch egg (now part of the furniture) their beaks appear to be about one inch long. As you can see on the floor, today's menu includes two small mice and some leftovers, as compared to the mouse and larger rodent on April 30th. They ate for much of the night and have already consumed a bird and part of a mouse this morning. The bone crunching is awesome as June chops their food up into tiny pieces. It is a dark rainy day and June has already made three trips out of the nest to visit with Ward. He has stayed very close to the nest for the last few days but has yet to enter it. | April
