While there
is no way to know for sure if this is a four-month-old Peanut lounging in the sun, it is
certainly possible. He spent three days in the treetops near the nest box in early
September. The downy feathers covering his face and head, along with his relative
tameness, do suggest that he is a first-year juvenile.
